I felt like such a dummy.  Here I am 10 days late, I go to the bathroom at 4am, before my 7am induction and am wondering if the pee that doesn't seem to be stopping is my water breaking.  Umm, DUH!!!!  In my defense, my water only partially broke then, so it wasn't the gush that I was expecting.

My water partially broke, I should say "barely" broke with DD in the middle fo the night.  I thought it was odd and suspected a tear in the sack, and then it REALLY broke at the doctor's office!

With DS I thought I was in labor on the Saturday before induction.  Timed contractions for three hours until they were three minutes apart.  They were really quite strong too.  I got sent home with instructions to come to the hospital if the contractions are 5 mintues apart.  Seriously?  I feel like a moron for coming in when they're 3 apart.  I'm not coming back until I see a baby!

When I checked in for induction they were 5 minutes apart.  Who knows?  I don't know how in the world you're supposed to know if you're in labor or not and I have two children.  :)

No contractions, water just broke in the middle of the night. Like CookingMama, it took me a while to realize it was my water breaking, and not me peeing on myself!

You crack me up Saranan!  I went in at night, because I was scared of all the blood in my "bloody show"  I had filled 2 pads, and the MD said I needed a hemorage test.  I had already started contracting too.  After a long overnight wait of a negative test, I got sent home too on my request.  I was only 2 cm dialated, and wanted to eat.  Went back in that evening.

With my first, I heard my water break! I was a week past due date, we were up late all was quiet. Then I heard a little pop! There was no gush, just a very slight leak. No contractions yet either. Lots of time to get to the hospital. Labor was 15 hrs.

With the second, I was SO ready a week before due date. Been at 4cm for a month! Husband did accupressure on my ankles, and I was having strong contractions 15 minutes later!  Labor was 5 hrs.

My contractions came so quick and strong that it caused me to throw up 4 times!  Water broke but it was not big production...a little leak:-)  Afterall, got to the hospital at 11 am had her at 11:38!  It was intense the whole time, but I must say I am fortunate- only 4 1/2 hours of labor....go ahead and cuss me!!!  It was a must for a natural birth  Thank you God:-)
