I  went into the boy room after they went to school and got into my 9 year old candy bucket and took some candy,

My 11 year old just didn't want to go to school today he has a test this morning. I told him that I wouldn't be home so don't try to  call me saying your sick. now I feel bad what if he gets really sick and need to come home. Poor kids.

I let my kids veg in front of the TV for a good hour each night during the week so I can get dinner done in peace. I try to encourage them to go outside and play, but if they whine or the weather is bad....here comes Phineas and Ferb!

Yep - Dragon Tales or Little Einsteins is how dinner gets made every night.

Sometimes I really don't "make dinner," though. Probably 2 -3 nights a week, W gets ravioli from a can or frozen fish sticks/popcorn shrimp/chicken nuggets.
