My son is running to his room to get the games and check the prices....He is actually RUNNING~~~ LOL

Yep I took them in, as long as they are complete (game, box, and art work or cover to the case) you can take them to Toys R Us to the guest service's and they will give you the Gift Card right there. If they are missing something or you just have the Game, you can mail it in for less but still get money back. It was great!!! I made enough to buy my daughter's Bike for Christmas!!! It was a god sent that I found this because it really helped!!! I am so happy that others can benefit from this too!

TRU has been offering this service for quite a few months now.  Just be sure you have everything that goes with the game because we can't take it if you don't. 

I like it because you don't have to buy another game or take a hit on the trade in price if you get cash back.  You can use the store credit to get whatever you want at TRU.

Thanks Dinah S, it is weird because on the link that I have from Toys R Us, they have an incomlete price but you have to mail in the game for the Gift Card and a Complete Game price, which can be taken to the store. Is that what you mean by we can not take them, meaning the incomplete games at the store?

For us to take them in store I have been told we need it to be complete.

 That's cool! My hubby has soooooooooo many games it's crazy! And his are all still in the boxes so that is no biggie! Thanks for the heads up it will sure come in handy this holiday season!

I am so glad people are realizing that TRU offers this.  I work at the service desk and in the months we have been doing this I have had maybe 6 people turn in games and half of them were employees...lol

I had no problems and the people working at my Toys R Us in Mesa AZ are wonderful!!! It was fast, easy, and if you dont have all the stuff you can mail it in and they will take but check the site just to be sure. I LOVE TOYS R US!!! I am so excited because I thought I was going to have to pay $70 out of Pocket for a bike and now I am going to pay $15 and get a $10 gift card back!!! Man this made my day.
